InspiNest hosted the inaugural stakeholders\u2019 engagement for its Young Mothers in Entrepreneurship Project<\/em> on 25th October 2024. The event took place at the InspiNest Foundation\u2019s office, located on the top floor of the Modern Information Building on Newtown Road in Sunyani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from CARE International, GIZ, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, the Domestic Violence and Victims\u2019 Support Unit, the National Youth Authority, the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association, the Bono Regional Coordinating Council, the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana, Sunyani Youth for Development Association, local Queen Mothers, and some young mothers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Manager, Ms. Abigail Sarfowaa Yeboah, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the project\u2019s objectives and key output indicators. She also detailed the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder, stressing the critical importance of their collaboration in ensuring the project\u2019s success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Open Forum, stakeholders had the opportunity to ask questions and share their invaluable recommendations with the InspiNest team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives from the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) stated that they remain committed to enhancing sexual and reproductive health education for the beneficiaries in order to prevent unintended pregnancies during and after the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview, Madam Alberta Dumong, the field officer at InspiNest, said the engagement had a positive impact on the project’s goals and plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
